Vintage Artisan Boar Pig Head on Metal Platter

I've been entrusted with the task of finding homes for a private vintage collection of dollhouse miniatures. This is one of those pieces.

Many pieces in this collection are medieval style, so I believe this would have been something served at a castle banquet.

This one is a boars pig head with fangs on a metal platter. 

The doll house miniature platter is 1 1/4" across.
